Penosil helps to bring literary fiction to Estonians


67 original and previously unpublished manuscripts have been submitted to the novel contest of the Estonian Writers' Union, which was revived by private capital, including Wolf Group affiliate Penosil in 2014. First place was awarded to Vahur Afanasjev's novel Serafima ja Bogdan.


Wolf Group brand Penosil awarded prestigious Euro-Window title


A total of 81 companies active on the national market for insulating and related areas have received Euro-window awards during special Gala held on May 25 in the hall of the Radisson Blue Hotel Atlas - Bucharest, as part of the International Conference on Systems Joinery and Euro-pane windows. Among others, Wolf Group’s brand Penosil has also received a prestigious trophy in the category “Reliable brand”.

Euro-Window Prizes are awarded each year to recognize excellence in business companies in the windows and doors / curtain facades and present achievements of this sector to the business community. The awards were presented in five categories, evaluation and classification of the companies awarded by members of the editorial “Window”, independent entity that processes business information for industry carpentry, curtain walls and other related sectors.

The 30 awards and 51 awards were given for the promotion of innovative solutions in windows and doors and special contribution to market development in Romania.

Member of FEICA, Krimelte, signed a Declaration of Intent


In September 2012 European one-component foam (OCF) manufacturers representing more than 90% of the market came together to sign a Declaration of Intent aimed at implementing international standards and enhancing the reputation of the industry. An early achievement has been the development of standardised test methods, which will allow the performance of OCF products to be measured, compared and communicated in an accurate manner for the first time. 


Estonian Wolf Group acquired shares of Brazilian manufacturing plant Elasteq


Wolf Group, a leading European producer and exporter of PU foams, joint sealants and breathing facade solutions, acquired 40% of Elasteq do Brasil Ltd shares, a manufacturing plant in Brazil.  The production plant of Elasteq is located near Sao Paulo, one of the largest cities in South America, and the company specializes in the manufacture and sale of water proofing products.  The transaction price is confidential.


Penosil is NUKU Theatre's main sponsor in its 61st season


Today, 19 September, Jaan Puusaag, CEO of Wolf Group, and Meelis Pai, Manager of the Estonian Puppet and Youth Theatre, signed a cooperation agreement at the opening event of the season, based on which Penosil, the globally renowned brand of construction materials, will become the theatre's main sponsor in its 61st season. The cooperation agreement between Penosil and the Estonian Puppet and Youth Theatre was signed for one year.

“Being the main sponsor of the Puppet Theatre is a great honour for Penosil and the whole Wolf Group,“ Jaan Puusaag, CEO of Wolf Group, admitted. According to Puusaag, cooperation with the theatre has been on-going for several years and becoming the main sponsor was simply a natural progression. 
Penosil has previously contributed to the success of the Nuku Theatre. For example, Penosil supported the marketing campaign for “High School Musical” by bringing an audience sufficient for it to achieve more performances than any other world class musical in Estonia. In 2010, a foam statue of the nun Elsabe was presented right next to the building of the Puppet and Youth Theatre. This pilot project initiated the foam statue project Penosil Art, which has proven hugely popular for the past three successive years. 

Efficiency and new export markets ensured strong results for Wolf Group


Export-oriented Wolf Group increased its turnover. In 2012, the emphasis is on export to Middle America and the Balkans.


Wolf Group introduced a unique construction portal

Besides that, users can create a personal account in order to be able to ask questions and comment on given solutions and articles,“ Iveri Marukashvili, Communication Manager, explains.

A very practical function on the Masters Club website are various calculators that, for example, allow to quickly calculate the number of panels and the amount of foam adhesive required for the insulation of walls or the installation of windows, based on wall parameters.
